The VCC is governed by the rules of N4C of which we are a member.  We follow their rules carefully except when it comes to the number of awards that we make in competition.  Since we are a much smaller organization than N4C we make fewer competition awards than they do.  At each level and in each category for our monthly competitions we award 1st, 2nd and 3rd places or as many places as we can if there are less than 3 entries.

In addition to this, Honorable Mentions may be awarded at the judge's discretion.
