The slideshow to the right features the 1st-3rd Place winners and HMs from our June competition held on June 1, 2026. The categories were Nature, Travel and Pictorial. 

Our next competition will be our July competition on Monday July 6th at 7pm. The categories will be Creative, Journalism, Nature and Pictorial. Our judge will be Charlie Ginsburgh. This competition will open for submission on Friday, June 19^th at 7pm and will close for entry at 7:00pm on Wednesday July 1st.

On Tuesday, June 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the Vineyard Center, master photographer and one of our own, Peter Nichols, will give a presentation on the use of AI techniques to restore old photographs. Starting with old, faded and damaged pictures, Peter will show you how to restore them to a pristine state and look as if they were taken with a modern camera. There are professional labs that can do this for you, but it takes time, can be very expensive and often yields marginal results. This presentation will show you how to do this at home, fast, at little cost to obtain outstanding results.

Please let me Rich James (Rajames5959@gmail.com) know if you plan to attend as there is a great deal of interest in this from outside the club and the Vineyard Center can only hold so many people.

The VCC welcomes all Villagers to its programs on the first Monday (Competition) and third Tuesday (Program) of the month.
